Audit Management Letter Generator for Small CPA Firms
Generate professionally structured GAAS-standard management letters in minutes, not hours. An alternative to Wolters Kluwer TeamMate+ and CaseWare — included with your Claude subscription — now with source-level AU-C §265, COSO 2013, SSARS, PCAOB, and Yellow Book references.
Important: All documents generated by this plugin are drafts intended as starting points. Management letters and financial documents should be reviewed by a qualified CPA before distribution. This plugin does not provide accounting or audit advice.

Estimated Cost per Use
Disclaimer: Token estimates are approximate and based on typical usage patterns measured from skill prompt sizes. Actual costs vary with input data size, conversation length, and complexity. Estimates use Claude Sonnet 4.6 pricing ($3/1M input, $15/1M output). Cowork and Claude Desktop subscription users (Pro/Max/Team) are not charged per-token — these estimates apply only to direct Anthropic API usage. Running stages individually in fresh sessions uses fewer input tokens than running the full pipeline sequentially, because pipeline mode accumulates conversation history across stages.
Per skill (run individually in a fresh session):
| Stage | Skill Prompt | User Input | Total Input | Output | Est. Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| management-generate | ~7.2K | ~800 | ~10.8K | ~6.0K | ~$0.12 |
| management-findings | ~4.9K | ~800 | ~8.5K | ~4.9K | ~$0.10 |
| management-tracker | ~5.6K | ~800 | ~9.2K | ~5.6K | ~$0.11 |
| management-kb | ~6.2K | ~800 | ~9.8K | ~6.0K | ~$0.12 |
| Standalone total | ~38.3K | ~22.5K | ~$0.45 |
Full pipeline (all stages in one session — context accumulates):
| Stage | Base Input | + History | Total Input | Output | Est. Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| management-generate | ~11.1K | 0 | ~11.1K | ~6.0K | ~$0.12 |
| management-findings | ~8.7K | ~6.8K | ~15.5K | ~4.9K | ~$0.12 |
| management-tracker | ~9.4K | ~12.5K | ~21.9K | ~5.6K | ~$0.15 |
| management-kb | ~10.0K | ~18.9K | ~28.9K | ~6.0K | ~$0.18 |
| Pipeline total | ~77.4K | ~22.5K | ~$0.57 |
Running the full pipeline once typically costs $0.40–$0.74 in API tokens (Claude Sonnet 4.6).
Known Limitations
- Draft output only — Generated letters are DRAFTS. A licensed CPA must review before distribution and insert management's responses where indicated.
- No direct CPA software integration — Cannot import/export directly from CaseWare, PPC, or Thomson Reuters. Findings must be entered manually or via CSV.
- Single-client per workspace — Each workspace is configured for one client engagement. For multiple clients, use separate workspace folders.
- No digital signatures — Management letters are DOCX files; digital signature workflows must be handled by the CPA's own tools.
- AI language drafting is advisory — Professional opening statements and impact language are AI-generated and must be reviewed by a CPA for accuracy and appropriateness before issuance.
- Workpaper cross-references are manual — The plugin records workpaper references entered by the user but does not automatically link to workpaper files.
