Not for: Enterprise legal teams with 500+ NDAs/year who need e-signatures, CRM integration, and audit trails.

AI-Powered Features

Estimated Cost per Use

Disclaimer: Token estimates are approximate and based on typical usage patterns measured from skill prompt sizes. Actual costs vary with input data size, conversation length, and complexity. Estimates use Claude Sonnet 4.6 pricing ($3/1M input, $15/1M output). Cowork and Claude Desktop subscription users (Pro/Max/Team) are not charged per-token — these estimates apply only to direct Anthropic API usage. Running stages individually in fresh sessions uses fewer input tokens than running the full pipeline sequentially, because pipeline mode accumulates conversation history across stages.

Per skill (run individually in a fresh session):

Stage Skill Prompt User Input Total Input Output Est. Cost
nda-tracker ~2.3K ~800 ~5.7K ~3.0K ~$0.06
nda-review ~3.2K ~800 ~6.7K ~6.0K ~$0.11
nda-clauses ~2.2K ~800 ~5.6K ~3.0K ~$0.06
nda-generate ~7.4K ~800 ~10.9K ~6.0K ~$0.12
Standalone total ~29.0K ~18.0K ~$0.36

Full pipeline (all stages in one session — context accumulates):

Stage Base Input + History Total Input Output Est. Cost
nda-tracker ~5.8K 0 ~5.8K ~3.0K ~$0.06
nda-review ~6.8K ~3.8K ~10.6K ~6.0K ~$0.12
nda-clauses ~5.7K ~10.6K ~16.3K ~3.0K ~$0.09
nda-generate ~11.0K ~14.4K ~25.4K ~6.0K ~$0.17
Pipeline total ~58.1K ~18.0K ~$0.44

Running the full pipeline once typically costs $0.31–$0.58 in API tokens (Claude Sonnet 4.6).

Known Limitations

  1. No e-signatures: Generated NDAs include signature blocks but require external signing. The tracker can log signed status.

  2. No automatic reminders: Expiration alerts are generated on-demand when you run /nda:tracker expiring. Set calendar reminders manually based on the report.

  3. Single-user: The plugin runs locally in your Cowork session. Share NDA files via Dropbox/Google Drive if needed, but the registry is single-user.

  4. LLM knowledge currency: Jurisdiction-specific rules are based on statutory research (last verified 2025-05). Laws change — have an attorney review generated NDAs annually, especially for states with recent legislative changes (CA SB 699, CO SB23-058, IL Freedom to Work Act amendments).

  5. Not legal advice: All outputs include disclaimers. This tool generates NDA documents and provides risk guidance based on UTSA, DTSA, IACCM/WorldCC, and ABA standards, but it is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. Always consult a qualified attorney.

  6. US-focused: Jurisdiction rules are US-centric (50 states + DC). International NDAs can be generated with generic UTSA-aligned provisions and GDPR Article 28/46 notes but require extra attorney review.

  7. No contract negotiation tracking: The plugin generates and reviews NDAs but does not track redline changes or negotiation history between parties.

Dependencies

  • Python 3 (pre-installed in Cowork VM)
